The Binary Numeric system is restricted to two simple numbers, 1 and 0. When put in a certain sequence called bits, these two number can represent numbers.
Ex.
0001: 1
1010: 10
1111: 15

We've been working with a program called Turbo Pascal to created a game wherein the computer would choose a number from 1-100. The game is meant to give the player clues if their guess is too high or too low.
This program has gone through 3 different versions. The first being a simple version of the game and the third being a more complex version (along with the introduction of using procedures to divide the code into different sections.

Apparently yesterday (October 21, 2008) was Global Anti-Piracy Day. Kind of a late post, but better late than never, yes?
We all know that the programs (at least most of the really good ones) out there cost money. An example of that would be Adobe Photoshop. It's an amazing graphics/photo editing software that comes with a pretty hefty price... say about $700-$1000 USD, it really depends). It's quite expensive, but it's highly worth it.
Most people would buy it, but to those who really want it but don't have the money, they resort to buying (or downloading) a pirated copy. This hurts the businesses that actually sells these programs legally.
Microsoft if trying to put a stop to that. Follow this link to read more about it.
